My Approach

I treat everyone as an individual, irrespective of any background or experiences.  I will not pre-judge who you are and what your needs may be.  Remember “there’s no such thing as a stupid question, only a stupid answer”.  I will help you to ask the right questions and help you find your own solutions.

I look forward to speaking with you soon.

My Story

As someone who didn’t enjoy classroom learning at school the last thing I ever thought I’d do is to be a Trainer but having found my biggest ‘driver’ was to help and support others it became a natural calling.

Meet the Team

In addition to myself, there are a number of my contacts that can be available to support you in any interventions.  If it’s not in my expertise I will find someone that is an expert.

I am a pragmatic and highly motivated senior Training professional with more than 25 years’ experience in the industry both as a Training practitioner and coach, and in Training Management.  This experience has enabled me to partner with and be to able better understand the needs of individuals enabling the development of tailored solutions to meet your needs.

I originate from the UK where I discovered my passion for learning and development whilst working in the Public Sector, training a range of skills and topics from basic training to areas such as Equal Opportunities and Health & Safety.  I moved to Amman, Jordan, in 2004 where I spent a year training Police Officers in a range of practical skills, eventually heading up the unit of 74 staff.

In 2005 I worked with a newly established training consultancy in Amman as the Deputy General Manager, providing Leadership & Behavioural Skills training to corporate clients.  The company quickly became one of the primary names for Learning & Development in Jordan.

Moving to the UAE in 2008 I continued my career as a learning & development specialist focusing on Leadership, HR development and business skills training, as well as organisational development.

I have a passion for training, and in particular supporting the development of the people and organisations that I works with.  With well-developed team and interpersonal skills, a flexible mind and willingness to seek and respond to ideas.  I have excellent diplomacy and relationship building skills, and am able to analyse and manage situations through effective listening and a tactful approach.

I am a committed Learning and Development specialist with a strong belief in Continuous Professional Development (CPD).  I am a Certified Manager (CM), a CCU Corporate Coach, STAR Selection Trainer, and approved ILM Trainer.  In 2011, I was trained by the author Liz Wiseman as one of the first Multipliers trainers outside the U.S.  In November 2012 I qualified as an EQi 2.0 & EQ360 Assessor and more recently as a Certified Innermetrix Consultant, and am able to conduct a range of psychometric assessments (including Leadership, Sales, Teams & Organisational Development Analysis).  In November 2013 I completed the Situational Leadership Train the Trainer programme and can deliver the full suite of courses offered by Centre for Leadership Studies.  I have also completed an MA in HRM (graduating in October 2013).

With over 10 years training experience in the commercial world I have delivered a wide range of learning interventions, in a wide variety of business sectors.  My client list includes multinationals, and local organisations, and have worked with senior management teams to develop their business.  In addition to being a member of CIPD & AHRI I am also a member of The Human Resource Forum in Dubai.
